The MBUS® Gen. 3 Front Sight Flat Dark Earth Magpul MAG1166-BLK is a folding sight made of polymer, representing a typical example of the MBUS (Magpul® Back-Up Sight) flip-up sight, produced by the renowned firearms accessories manufacturer, Magpul Industries. The Generation 3 of this sight combines the best features of previous MBUS and MBUS Pro versions. The new design significantly reduces the size compared to previous MBUS models, with a folded height of only 14 mm.
Adjustment of this sight is quick and easy, done with a large, textured knob allowing for easy adjustments even when wearing gloves. Thanks to the lightweight and durable polymer construction, using this sight does not negatively affect weapon handling. Additionally, the spring-assisted opening facilitates deployment, which can be done with the large button.
Mounting of the sight is on a standard Picatinny rail, with a locking system designed to provide maximum stability while allowing for automatic folding in case of impact with another object. The sight is compatible with MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, enabling the attachment of various accessories. It can be mounted using an Allen key or flathead screwdriver. The MBUS Gen. 3 sight is suitable for platforms such as AR10, AR15, M4, M16, M110, SR25.
